What is external spherical bearing
The external spherical bearing is actually a variant of the deep groove ball bearing, which is characterized by the spherical surface of the outer diameter of the outer ring and can be fitted into the corresponding concave sphere of the bearing seat to play the role of aligning.

The external spherical bearing is preferred for the occasions where the equipment and parts are simple, such as agricultural machinery, transportation system or construction machinery.It is mainly used to bear radial and axial combined load, which is mainly radial load. Generally, it is not suitable to bear axial load alone. This kind of bearing can be mounted with inner ring and outer ring respectively.This type of bearing does not allow the shaft to be tilted relative to the housing, which can generate additional axial force under radial load.The size of the axial clearance of the bearing has a great relationship with whether the bearing can work normally. When the axial clearance is too small, the temperature rise is higher.When the axial clearance is large, the bearing is easy to be damaged.Therefore, special attention should be paid to adjusting the axial clearance of the bearing during installation and operation. The remove
1.First loosen the locking screw on the eccentric sleeve of the bearing with an inner hexagon wrench, and then insert the small iron bar into the counterhole on the eccentric sleeve of the top cover, and loosen the eccentric sleeve against the direction of rotation of the shaft.
2.Loosen the bolts holding the bearing pedestal.Remove the bearing along with the housing from the shaft.Note before removing the bearing seat at one end of the shaft.The bolt of the bearing seat at the other end of the shaft should be loosened to avoid the damage caused by the mutual strength of the bearings at both ends.
The installation
1.Before installing the bearing on the shaft, it is necessary to remove the fixing pin of the bearing jacket, at the same time, polish the surface of the journal smooth and clean, and grease the journal for rust prevention and lubrication.
2.Coat lubricating oil on the matching surface of the bearing seat and bearing, and load the bearing into the bearing seat.Then the assembled bearing is sheathed on the shaft together with the bearing seat.Push to the desired location for installation.
3.The bolts fixing the bearing seat should not be tightened first, and the bearing jacket should be able to rotate in the bearing seat.The other end of the bearing and seat on the same shaft are also installed. Rotate the shaft for several turns and let the bearing itself automatically find the right position.Then tighten the bolts of the bearing seat.
4.Install eccentric sleeve.First, put the eccentric sleeve on the eccentric step of the bearing inner sleeve and tighten it by hand along the rotation direction of the shaft.Then the small iron bar is inserted or pushed against the countersunk hole on the eccentric sleeve.Hit the small iron bar with the hand hammer in the direction of rotation of the shaft.Make the eccentric sleeve firmly installed, and finally lock the inner hexagon screw on the eccentric sleeve.
