What is outer spherical ball bearing
The outer spherical ball bearing is actually a variant of the deep groove ball bearing, which is characterized by the spherical surface of the outer diameter of the outer ring and can be fitted into the corresponding concave sphere of the bearing seat to play the role of aligning. The outer spherical ball bearing is mainly used to bear the combined radial and axial load, which is mainly radial load. Generally, it is not suitable to bear the axial load alone.

Structural characteristics of outer spherical ball bearings
1. The outer spherical ball bearing with top wire is applied to the through shaft with poor stiffness and large deflection. Both sides of the bearing have sealing rings, which can strictly prevent the invasion of dirt. The allowable axial load shall not exceed 20% of the rated dynamic load.
2. The performance of the outer spherical ball bearing with eccentric sleeve is basically the same as that of the outer spherical ball bearing with top wire, but the top wire is not on the inner ring, but on the eccentric sleeve. The inner hole of the outer spherical ball bearing with tapered hole is a tapered hole with a 1:12 taper, which can be installed directly on the tapered shaft, or installed on the shaft-shoulder-free optical shaft with the help of a tight setting bushing, and the bearing clearance can be fine-tuned.

Disassembly method and matters needing attention for outer spherical ball bearings
Remove:
1. First loosen the locking screw on the eccentric sleeve of the bearing with an inner hexagon wrench, and then insert the small iron bar into the counterhole on the eccentric sleeve of the top cover, and loosen the eccentric sleeve against the direction of rotation of the shaft.
2. Loosen the bolts holding the bearing pedestal. Remove the bearing along with the housing from the shaft. Note before removing the bearing seat at one end of the shaft. The bolt of the bearing seat at the other end of the shaft should be loosened to avoid the damage caused by the mutual strength of the bearings at both ends.
Installation:
1. Before installing the bearing on the shaft, it is necessary to remove the fixing pin of the bearing jacket, polish the surface of the journal, and grease the journal for rust prevention and lubrication (allowing the bearing to rotate slightly on the shaft).
2. Coat lubricating oil on the matching surface of the bearing seat and bearing, and load the bearing into the bearing seat. Then the assembled bearing is sheathed on the shaft together with the bearing seat. Push to the desired location for installation.
3. The bolts fixing the bearing seat should not be tightened first, and the bearing jacket should be able to rotate in the bearing seat. The other end of the bearing and seat on the same shaft are also installed. Rotate the shaft for several turns and let the bearing itself automatically find the right position. Then tighten the bolts of the bearing seat.
4. Install eccentric sleeve. First, put the eccentric sleeve on the eccentric step of the bearing inner sleeve and tighten it by hand along the rotation direction of the shaft. Then the small iron bar is inserted or pushed against the countersunk hole on the eccentric sleeve. Hit the small iron bar with the hand hammer in the direction of rotation of the shaft. Make the eccentric sleeve firmly installed, and finally lock the inner hexagon screw on the eccentric sleeve.
