What is self-aligning ball bearing
Self-aligning ball bearing is a bearing fitted with spherical ball balls between the inner ring of two raceways and the outer ring of a spherical raceway. The curvature center of the outer ring raceway surface is consistent with the bearing center, so it has the same self-aligning function as the automatic self-aligning ball bearing. In the case of shaft and housing deflection, it can be automatically adjusted without increasing the bearing burden.

1. The outer ring raceway is spherical, with automatic self-aligning, which can compensate for the errors made by the self-aligning ball bearing with different concentricity and shaft deflection, but the relative inclination of the inner and outer rings shall not exceed 3 degrees.
2. Can bear large radial load, but also can bear a certain axial load. The outer ring raceway of this kind of bearing is spherical, so it has the performance of self-aligning. When the shaft is bent or tilted and the relative tilt of the center line of the inner ring and the center line of the outer ring is less than 1° ~ 2.5°, the bearing can still work.
3. There are two kinds of inner hole of self-aligning ball bearing: cylindrical and conical. The taper of the conical inner hole is 1:1 2 or 1:30.

1. 2. The cleaning of the self-aligning ball bearing removed shall be divided into coarse cleaning and fine cleaning, and placed in the container respectively. The metal net bottom shall be put first so that the bearing does not directly contact the dirt of the container. When rough cleaning, if the self-aligning ball bearing rotates with dirt, it will damage the rolling surface of the self-aligning ball bearing, and attention should be paid to it.
3. In the coarse cleaning oil, use a brush to remove grease and adhesions. After roughly cleaning, transfer to fine cleaning.
4. Fine cleaning is to carefully clean the self-aligning ball bearing while rotating in the cleaning oil. In addition, the cleaning oil should also be kept clean.
Surface treatment processing method:
1. Use laser, electron beam or induction quenching to carry out partial heat treatment on the insufficiently quenched ordinary high speed steel to obtain the surface hardened layer. It should be noted here that the quenching is insufficient to improve fracture toughness.
2. The surface hardened layer is obtained by chemical heat treatment. The method involves permeating carbon or nitrogen into the microstructure of ordinary high speed steel, or altering the carbon content to a small extent.
